We will be saying farewell to Mum on Thursday 11th February when she is laid to rest next to Dad at Southern Cemetary in Chorlton, Manchester. It is Chinese New Year's Eve, a day when family traditionally gathers to see out the old year, so it seems apt that we should all be together that day. Due to current restrictions and concerns for everyone's health, we have no expectations that anyone other than the family will attend. If you do wish to come to the chapel, please let us know. If anyone is wanting to send a floral tribute, the funeral will be conducted by Co-Operative Funeral Care's branch in Chorlton, or, if you would prefer to donate to Macmillan Caring Locally which is our chosen charity, you can do so via this page. Neither of course is expected, but we know that some of you would like to make such a kind gesture.
If any of you have any rememberences of Mum, we would love to hear them. Please feel free to post these, and any photos, on this tribute page. Though we cannot be together, it would be lovely to hear your memories. We are hoping that pandemic will allow us to hold a memorial in the late summer when we erect Mum's headstone, and that we may be able to catch up and remember her in person with some of you.
Thank you for all the kind words and love we have received.
